Contest Rules and Judging Criteria (English)
1）Time limit: Groups A, B: 1 hour 30 minutes; Group CD: 1 hour.
2）Please bring your own pencils and erasers.
3）Composition shall be written in Chinese. Group CD: Composition is based on a picture story provided. Groups A/B: Composition is based on a given topic.
4）Dictionaries (non-electronic) are permitted. Composition shall only be in traditional Chinese characters, Zhu-Yin or Han-Yu Pin-Yin.
5) Except for Group A, any typo or use of Zhu-Yin or Han-Yu Pin-Yin will not result in point deduction.
6) Scoring criteria: to the point of topic (40%), content (30%), grammar (20%), use of paragraphs (10%).
7) A contestant may be disqualified if the essay contains information that reveals his/her identity or the class he/she represents.
比賽規則與評分標準(中文)
比賽時間：A、B 組：一小時三十分鐘／CD 組：一小時
請自備鉛筆、橡皮擦。
以中文書寫，CD 組為看圖作文，其餘各組均為命題作文。
可攜帶紙板字典，國語作文，限用正體字或注音(拼音)。
除 A 組外，字寫錯或注音、拼音錯誤，不扣分。
評分標準：切題(40%）內容(30%）語法用字(20%）段落(10%）
文詞中如有任何透露或暗示參賽學生身分或所代表之班級的作品，評審得以決議作廢。
