國語粵語演講
國語即席演講

1. Speech is to present a contestant's personal opinions with  his/her own voice and body language by giving specific speech topics.

2. Mandarin and Cantonese Speech: Same speech topics are shared for both groups. Topics will be announced on the ANCCS website in mid November.

3. Mandarin Impromptu Speech: Topics will be determined by drawing in the contest room. Each contestant has 30 minutes to prepare. Assistance from anyone is not permitted.

4. Contestants are not permitted to directly read from their scripts during the speech.

5. Sequences of contestants shall be announced in the contest room.

6. Scoring criteria: Content (30%), Pronunciation (25%), Intonation (20%), Posture (25%)

7. Time limit: 

   • Group ABC：between 2.5 to 3 minutes. 5 Points will be deducted if the speech is less than 2 minutes.  3 points will be deducted if the speech is more than 2 minutes but less than 2.5 minutes, or more than 3 minutes but less than 3.5 minutes. Contestants will be stopped if exceeding 3.5 minutes and 5 points will be deducted.

   • Group D：

1. 演講是參賽者根據演講主題，用聲音跟肢體語言，完整的表達個人意見跟主張。

2. 國語、粵語演講：使用同組演講題目(以北加州中文學校聯合會學術比賽演講題目為主

3. 國語即席演講：演講題目當場抽題決定。參賽學生有三十分鐘時間自行準備，不可有旁人幫忙。

4. 國語、粵語演講以及國語即席演講，參賽者皆不可拿稿或直接讀稿。

5. 出場次序以評分表上之號碼為準(現場公布)。

6. 評分標準：內容(30%）發音(25%）聲調(20%）儀態(25%）。

7. 演講時間：

• ＡＢＣ組：以兩分半至三分鐘為準。超過三分三十秒，立即叫停。演講時間每超過或少於標準時間(兩分半至三分鐘)5秒之內，將會扣總成績0.5分。例如：演講時間在三分零一秒至三分零五秒，將會扣總成績0.5分。

• Ｄ組：以兩分至兩分半鐘為準。超過三分鐘，立即叫停。演講時間每超過或少於標準時間(兩分至兩分半鐘)5秒之內，將會扣總成績0.5分。例如：演講時間在二分三十一秒至二分三十五秒，將會扣總成績0.5分。
